Fire Safety
Appraisal of Existing Facilities.
- This appraisal is done to determine the compliance with Fire Safety Standards as stipulated in various international standards and in particular IP Code 19, NFPA 30 and NFPA 58 for LPG Installations. Recommendations are made for upgrade of existing facilities to comply with the Standards.
Design of New Fire Fighting Facilities
- This is done where such facilities do not exist in old oil terminals and LPG plants. This involves calculations for fire water capacity, fire pump capacity all based on the identified worst case scenario in a depot. Design of foam systems and specification for equipment for the system from international suppliers of fire-fighting equipment.
